Google Earth Pro is now free

I don't think many surveyor is living without Google Earth now. It is an essential tool to view the site, plan the project, research, check fieldwork, etc. That's why I'm so excited to learn the Google Earth Pro, used to cost $400/year, is now free.

Some of the cool features of Google Earth Pro includes:
- Parcels level: good for quick research of the site, check appraisal number, or easy for the field crew to use to find property corners.
- Open/import text, csv point files with lat, long: now you can view control points file or survey point files in GE, again, easy for field crew to locate these points.

- Open/import dgn files
